General
On-Time/Show Up Policy
MerryMen Movers® pledges to a 100% Show Up rate. In the 1% case, that movers just have not shown up at all then something went serious wrong as in some sudden emergency with the dispatched mover’s that anyone could have known prior. Furthermore, we hold no tolerance for no shows from our movers.
We strive to show up no more than 15 mins before or after the scheduled time. There are case when each our our crews are booked tight when something unexpected occurs on a move causing them to fall behind.
In cases where your movers show up later than 2 hours, thereafter or we will comp you 15 mins per every hour late (up to 4 hours). Compensation is based on the chart listed below in.

Payments
MerryMen Movers® collects the final and total payment after the scheduled job is complete. We do have flat rates and every move we do is by the hour. Therefore we may give you a precise estimate of how many hours it should take according to our historical data but we cannot finalize the total until after the Move is complete.
Acceptable Methods of Payment are the following as of January 2024:
- Any Debit/Credit Card i.e. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, AMEX, etc
- PayPal
- Cash App
- Venmo
Ways we collect Final payments
Following are a few different ways in which we go about collecting the final payment after the job is complete:
- For regular debit/card payments– You will receive an invoice to the email that you used to book the job after the move is complete.
- For CashApp and Venmo– We will send you a summary of the total charges. At this time, you may send the required payments to our approved CashApp or Venmo handles/tags.

- For PayPal– Click the pay by PayPal option on your invoice or send the required payment to our authorized PayPal handle/tags

- Card held on file– We will collect and hold an authorized debit or credit card in our secure files. Once the job is completed, we will send a summary of the total bill. During this time we will allow up to 36 hours, in which you can pay the total at your leisure. If the bill is still outstanding after 36 hours, we will automatically charge the card on-file that you authorized.
- Deposit Collected– We will collect and hold an authorized debit or credit card in our secure files. To confirm the job we will then put a authorized hold on the card for a minimum of $1 up to $100.
Once the job is completed, we will send a summary of the total bill. During this time we will allow up to 36 hours, in which you can pay the total at your leisure. If the bill is still outstanding after 36 hours, we will automatically charge the card on-file that you authorized.

These rates are our current service rates for labor services as of January 2024. Our prices per hour per man are set in stone and do not change. We charge $25 per hour per man for labor.

Other Fees and Rates
Certain fees are either add-on fees, meaning your choose them at your own convenience and are collected after the job/service is complete or an
additional fee, which shall be added on as a result of certain circumstances come about and shall be collected upfront before the move is begun.

Transport Fees
- Large Truck(26’ Box Truck)= $100 One Time Fee added to Labor cost
- Small Truck(Up to 15’ Box Truck) =$75 One Time Fee added to Labor cost
~$1 per mile added to labor cost.

Assembly Fees
- On the job assemblies- there are no additional charges for on-the-job assemblies. It would just increase the time that the total job takes. Below are the following assemblies:

Same Day Fees
SAME DAY SERVICE/LAST MINUTE FEE = $12.50 PER MAN (paid up front) to reserve a spot for less than 24 hrs from now.
Rebooking Fees
$25 ADDED TO TOTAL ONCE COMPLETE if you canceled within 2 hours of your schedule move and wish to rebook
Lateness Money back policy
we serve a great number of families daily, in which in some situations, unexpected obstacles arrive in moves that may cause your pre-scheduled movers to run behind. It’s not under their control and we are sorry.
We do UNDERSTAND, therefore in an event you were pre-scheduled, if your movers show up 2 hours later than your time range, you will be entitled to a $25 comp from your final bill. If we are any latrcthan 2 hrs, you may be entitled to AS high as a $50 comp of your final bill.

Starting after your reservation request is submitted, please send updates to us at these following times/events:
- 7 Days prior to job if Reservation was made 14 days or longer ago
- 24 Hours Prior to Schedule Job
- When the Movers/Drivers Arrive
- In the middle of the move: If it is only a load or unload then at the midpoint. If it is both a load and unload or full service, then after the load is finished
- When the Movers have completed the move
- When or if you have questions about the bill or issues paying it.
- 7 Days after to let us know how your adjustment in your new place went
